Jamiatul Uloom NY

Jamiatul Uloom New York, JUNY is an Islamic institute established to provide (Taleem) Islamic Education, (Khidmah) social services, and (Dawah) propagating towards Islam. Focusing on the development of all the segments of society, Men, Women and children, Jamiatul Uloom has established the following programs. Maktab (Weekdays and weekend Islamic Studies program for children). Full time Nazirah and Quran memorization for children. Seven year Alimiyah program on the advance sciences of Quraan, Sunnah and Fiqh for youth and adults. Weekly Adult classes for Men, Women and new Muslims. Weekly Adult Halaqah on spiritual reformation. Weekly Dawah programs to revive the spirit of Iman and Islam in the community. Daily Taleem session to raise awareness in the promises of Allah upon practicing Islam. Jamiatul Uloom is dedicated to serving the Muslim community and fulfilling their needs.

Aims and Objectives

Creating a generation of strong Muslims well grounded in faith, good character, Allah conscious and beneficial to mankind. Providing Islamic Education, social service, spiritual reformation and calling others towards the correct way. Looking to fulfill the necessities of the creation through serving them.

Our Service

Things We Are Doing

Jamia Uloom New York could be summarized into three categories. They are: education, social service and preaching. In addition to the abovementioned programs we will be gradually proceeding for higher classes to teach the students up to the highest level. Such as takhssus fil fiqh, tafseer and hadith (spelization in jurisprudence, Quranic interpretation and Hadith)

Taleem (التعليم)

This taleem is collective - the family members preferably all sit together and let as many participants read a kitaab as is possible. Each kitaab should only be read for about 2 minutes.

Dawah (الدعوة)

Da'wah: is also the Sunnah (practice) of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Allah SWT recognized him as Daa'ee Ila-Allah ("Daa'ee" or "Daa'iah" means the one who calls people to Allah SWT).

Khidmah (الخدمة)

Surah Al Nisa, 4: 37, Allah tells the believers to fulfill the rights and show utmost kindness. Parents, Kindred, Orphans, Neighbors that are family relative or not, The companion by your side, The wayfarer.
